Day 1: Alleppey to Champakulam
Champakulam is reached after passing the places called Pallathuruthy River, Pukaitha River, Pullangady. Champakulam is beautiful attractions like Champakulam Church, Kottaram Temple, and famous snake boat – the Champakulam Chundan.
Day2: Back to Alleppey through some beautiful small villages
The cruise passes through Chennamkery, Kainary, Pallathuruthy and Kuppapuram, all small villages, to reach Alleppey. The small town of Alleppey is known as the ‘Venice of the East’. Houseboats are generally parked here. The best things to see at Alleppey are Vembanad Lake, narrow canals, paddy fields and the sleepy villages.
Meals are cooked on board and supplied to the guests. The best of the cuisine include fresh fish from the backwaters itself. Main meals served at these house boats are of typical Kerala cuisine. For lunch you can expect Rice, vegetables, fish fry/curry, and pappadam. Evening will be great with the Tea or coffee offered with snacks.
